I'm learning Japanese..

My major is East Asian studies, and I am really interested in Japanese traditional religion. Actually, I am thinking about writing my senior thesis about Japanese Shinto.  
 Later, I also want to go studying abroad in Japan and do research about Shinto. That's why I decided to study Japanese. 
So far, it is really fun, but memorizing those characters and words is little bit difficult.
